From New York 1: "Concerned Mothers in New York Collect Aid for Japan in Union Square"

JCIE’s earthquake fund receives its first donation of $500.

JEN staff are on the ground, surveying the needs; they begin providing rice at shelters in Miyagino-ku, Sendai.

The Association of Medical Doctors of Asia (ADMA) brings aid supplies (food, water, kerosene heaters, charcoal) to two nursing homes in Aoba-ku.

Two helicopters loaded with Peace Winds Japan (PWJ) relief food and materials arrive in Kesennuma; land transport team leaves as well with food and shelters.
